Howard Pugh Web Design has been a full service website solution provider since 1995. With a background heavy in smaller Business to Business, Consumer and Non-Profit customers we are an ideal one-stop shop for almost any organization wishing to leverage the web for greater exposure, sales/pre-sales, information delivery, online business and customer satisfaction. Based in the San Francisco East bay, we have promoted relationships with local customers by offering onsite consultation and quick real-person access as projects are developed and maintained. Howard Pugh Web Design believes in supporting the local community and has done occasional pro bono web design for schools and non-profits and is also a member of Hayward Chamber of Commerce.
Web Design Philosophy
Web pages aren't traditionally what could be called works
of art nor should they pretend to cross that threshold,
however they can incorporate some of the principles that
good art dictates: form, organic cohesion, originality,
inventiveness, and even expression. We believe Web design should
structure and clarify content, give birth to greater understanding
and communicate the intended message and meaning unambiguously. It should also leverage all that the world of interactivity has to offer and make doing business as fast and convenient as possible.
Above all a website should be easy to use and a rewarding
experience for its intended audience.

As senior consultant and designer Howard brings a rich tapestry of experience and web knowledge to all types of businesses and projects. He has worked extensively at consumer-based, business to business and non-profit organizations all over the S.F bay area and has held such titles as Senior UI Designer, Senior Web Designer, Graphic Designer, Software Engineer, Reporting Engineer, Data Warehouse Administrator, Web Marketing Manager, Marketing Operations Manager and Webmaster.
